Acetylene Torch is ideal, Oxy-Acetylene is too hot for domestic refrigeration installation, as all experienced techs are well aware of. If you are an A/C tech, oxy-acetylene(cutting torch 3000-6000 degs) is TOO HOT to use on domestic refrigeration!

A couple negative reviews on here, are due to the buyer not being a licensed refrigeration technician, that was qualified to install the evaporator, using the wrong torch and ruining the evaporator, then trying to blame the evaporator and getting their money back! Do Not Buy this evaporator if you do Not have a licensed tech to install it, or you are licensed and qualified to do so! THERE ARE NO REFUNDS! THEY ARE ALL TESTED 3 TIMES FOR LEAKS AND PRESSURE TESTED, SO THEY ARE SHIPPED WITH ZERO LEAKS IN THEM AND THAT IS VERIFIED 3 TIMES BEFORE THEY ARE SHIPPED TO YOU! ANY LEAKS YOU END UP WITH AFTER INSTALLATION, YOU CAUSED AT THAT POINT!
